Trust stack assurance

Futbolier trust infrastructure overview

Use this map to choose the right trust artifact, understand what each layer proves, and preserve a review path from public receipt to portable evidence package.

Five-layer trust stack

Each layer has a distinct job. Reviewers start with the public-facing artifact, then move deeper when the stakes require stronger evidence, certification context, or independent recomputation.

Layer 1

Public Trust Receipt

Human-readable trust

Public receipt, QR, or URL that summarizes trust signals and points reviewers to the deeper verification layers.

Layer 2

Certificate Registry

Standing resolution

Trusted public reference source for issued certificate identifiers, archive standing, stored fingerprints, and certification metadata.

Open guide
Layer 3

Technical Certificate

Certified evidence

Audit-grade evidence record that preserves certified facts, evidence coverage, governance seal, custody events, and archive lineage.

Layer 4

Payload Verifier

Byte-level integrity

Local SHA-256 recomputation tool that compares submitted payload bytes with a trusted expected certificate fingerprint when supplied.

Layer 5

Trust Bundle

Portable evidence package

This guide applies to original or legacy Trust Bundles you legitimately hold. Verify their manifest and artifact hashes locally. Anonymous creation or download of a full canonical bundle is restricted.

Trust boundaries

The stack is designed so each artifact keeps its own trust boundary. A reviewer can explain what was shown, what was resolved, what was sealed, what was recomputed, and what was exported.

Trust is layered, not duplicated

The receipt communicates, the registry resolves standing, the certificate records, the verifier recomputes, and the bundle transports.

Registry standing scopes reliance

Registry standing, jurisdiction, certification metadata, stored fingerprints, and archive lineage determine how strongly a reviewer can rely on a record.

Portability requires replayability

A handoff package is useful only when another reviewer can reopen it, recompute hashes, inspect signatures, and preserve a receipt of the review.

Reviewer routing

Use this table to decide where a review should start and when it should move deeper into the trust stack.

Review need

I need a public artifact to share or scan.

Start with

Public Trust Receipt.

Escalate when

Open the registry report or technical certificate when reliance is contested.

Review need

I need to know whether the archive is official, current, or historical.

Start with

Certificate Registry.

Escalate when

Inspect the technical certificate when certification or lineage context needs supporting evidence.

Review need

I need the certified facts and supporting evidence coverage.

Start with

Technical Certificate.

Escalate when

Use the payload verifier when byte-level integrity or fingerprint reconciliation is required.

Review need

I need to recompute the SHA-256 of submitted bytes.

Start with

Payload Verifier.

Escalate when

Compare against the registry or certificate when the expected fingerprint source must be trusted.

Review need

I need to move the review package offline or across institutions.

Start with

Trust Bundle.

Escalate when

Reopen each packaged artifact when a manifest, signature, or artifact exception appears.

Evidence handoff standard

A complete review should preserve enough context for another reviewer to reproduce the path from public claim to technical proof.

Preserve the exact source artifact

Keep the URL, PDF, ZIP, JSON, certificate, registry report, or receipt exactly as reviewed.

Preserve hash and comparison evidence

Record expected and computed SHA-256 values, comparison status, manifest hashes, and any mismatch context.

Preserve certification context

Retain registry standing, jurisdiction, data plane, certificate issuer, signing key, and archive lineage.

Preserve review timing and custody

Keep lookup timestamps, verification session receipts, reviewer context, source handoff notes, and any retry history.
